I would never have imagined in my worst dreams that you would never play "Billie's Blues" with me again. I feel indescribably saddened yet honored to have been the last singer to have ever been accompanied by you. We laughed together about the all the kids taking over the jam two weeks before. We talked about our families; being the "older" generation of musicians at Mike's Place. We talked about our past and present occupations and the music. I walk around in disbelief that I will never see you again. You contributed so much to my fun on stage - and made sure that I gave each musician due time for solos. I mourn you like a family member; I grieve, and shall do everything in my power to uphold your memory, music and soul, together with Orna and the boys.
